Lonton and Gray- Winners 2007 Squib InlandsBryan and Jenny Riley finish first overall at the 2007 Rutland Squib Inland Championships, a 5 race weekend in light and variable conditions with a record breaking fifty-seven entries.

On day one the wind barely reached 5knts and with swings of up to ten degrees over the race area the conditions were the most testing competitors had faced for years.

Many of the elite group of former National and Inland Champions who compete at the event regularly, struggled to maintain any form of consistency, with many failing to score top fifteen places in the first three races.

However twice former National Champions Bryan and Jenny Riley sailing Brimstone sailed brilliantly getting the most out of their sails to score a second, sixth and first on day one to take the title after racing was abandoned without discards on day two due to the lack of wind. Said Bryan Riley ‘To get a result like that everything has to be right’

Brimstone used the following Lonton & Gray Sails:

Jib - LGSQ1
Main Sail – LGSQM2 (Flat Cut)
Spinnaker – LGS1 (07) (Cross Cut)
